How to Find Berkeley House

Follow the below instructions to arrive safely at Berkeley House. Easily accessible from the M5. (Avoiding the Newton Abbot bottle neck.)

From the M5 Motorway or the A30 join the A38 southbound and travel west in the direction of Plymouth. Approx 4 miles west of Exeter take the left lane at a major road division for Torbay on the A380. There are major road signs overhead. Just keep to the left.

Travel up the very long steep hill (Telegraph Hill) and after approx 3 miles along the dual carriageway take the left exit for Teignmouth and Shaldon.

Follow this picturesque route to Teignmouth and eventually turn right at traffic lights at bottom of a very long hill.

After approximately one mile take a left turn at the traffic lights for Shaldon and Torquay on the B379.

Travel over Shaldon bridge which spans the River Teign and follow this road all the way to Torquay hugging the coast on your left hand side all the way.

After some 5 miles and your arrival to the outskirts of Torquay you will approach a small roundabout. Continue straight on keeping the golf course on your left. Up the hill and across the next small roundabout into St.Marychurch turning a sharp left bend to pass the shops on both sides.

Continue over the traffic lights and pedestrian crossing and take the first left turn onto Babbacombe Downs Road and Seafront. With the coast on your left you will find Berkeley House mid way along on your right.
